No elevator Acces Temporarily
Please note! Between January 6 and February 14, the elevator will not be available due to maintenance work.
If you rely on the elevator to visit multiple floors, you will only be able to access the ground floor during this period. The restrooms for the museum and the museum café are located on the first floor. A restroom will be made available outside via the museum garden. Unfortunately, there will be no accessible restroom for visitors with reduced mobility during this time.

Huis Van Gijn is very well accessible for disabled people. Despite the differences in level in the museum, all rooms are accessible. The museum has adapted toilets.
Parking
Holders of a disabled parking card (GPK) can park in all regular parking spaces, both paid parking spaces and spaces for permit holders. Near Huis Van Gijn there are several parking meters. It is also possible to park outside the parking space (also in a no parking zone) with a parking disc (max. 3 hours). However, the traffic situation must be taken into account. If you park outside the parking space, in an area where paid parking is in force, you are obliged to pay the parking fee.
Restaurant
The museum restaurant is also accesible. The garden patio too, the pathways in the garden may cause some difficulty as they are paved with gravel.
